For Thanksgiving this year, Darren and I went on a 3 day cruise to the Bahamas and it was wonderful!! We...
... ate so much food I collapsed next to this cute towel walrus or seal while Darren hung out with a monkey...
... (I) danced every chance I got, I even got Darren to go clubbing with me in the Bahamas, what a good sport...
... even found a pole to keep us entertained for a while
...
... watched horrible karaoke-ers (both not wanting to sing), swam, ate, drank a lot of "pina not-a coladas", hung out, ate some more...
... while in the Bahamas, we got a scooter and cruised around on the island stopping at the famous Atlantis Hotel and of course ending up at a beach...
... we were in Florida for the day on Sunday and because of hurricane like weather, we stayed inside and went to a couple museums. Ripley's Believe It or Not and Wonderworks. Both fun, but definitely a one time thing.
At Ripley's- biggest chair and tire and tallest man, as well as this carriage made with all match sticks (it was AMAZING) and Darren now has the biggest bicep in the world (he wishes)...

... we had such a great time as it was a much needed vacation after a stressful couple of months!! I do have to say we are lucky to be alive after almost getting hit by a car on the scooter (sometimes we forgot they drove on the left side of the road) and not being attacked by Pirates. Yes, a cruise shipped was attacked yesterday off the coast of Somalia, crazy!

I wanted to go to the Cuckoo cafe when I was in Utah. We stopped by there but it was closed. It was a random time though, about 4 pm the saturday after thanksgiving, so I wasn't expecting it to be open. but I'll get there someday!

Wow. That looks like a TON of fun! T- sorry I haven't been in touch with you more in response to all of the sweet comments you have left on our blog over the past few weeks when we have been going crazy. I appreciate all of your concerns and offers to help if you lived closer. I think things are much better now with Ben home for a little while and the kids and I more settled in. Anyway, you are so thoughtful and willing to help. I just wanted you to know that I really appreciate it. When will you guys be in Utah? Ben goes back to Minneapolis on December 28th. Hopefully we'll get to see you!
